Johanna Sprague is an artist & designer living in Oakland, California. A Massachusetts native, she studied at RISD and The Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston then went on to earn a BS in International Trade and Marketing from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2006.
After working as an interior designer for Jonathan Adler in Boston she decided to pursue a wholistic approach to space and earned a certification at The Golden Gate School of Feng Shui in Oakland. She currently travels throughout the Bay Area and New England to consult and exhibit.
With a discerning eye and a focus on financial and environmental sustainability, she curates spaces to help people feel peaceful, healthy and inspired to thrive.
Her artwork is an amalgam of pieces from all over the world merged to create one of a kind installations, decor, sculpture and jewelry. Pieces take shape as she melds refined and ordinary elements while delivering an unexpected elegance and engaging people to consider a balanced relationship with nature, art and consumption.
In gratitude, a percentage of all artwork sales are donated to the Natural Resources Defense Council in an effort to preserve the landscapes that nourish her work.
